Registration for Aruba’s 70th Carnival has opened

With no more than 4 months to go, registration for Eleccion de Prins & Pancho de Aruba’s Carnival 70 – 2024 is officially open completely digitally on SMAC’s facebook page. As this year introduced a new category in the comic competition, for another year, this is the case again. The election brought some changes.

Categories to participate in:

Children: 7 to 10 years, Adolescents: 13 to 16 years, Adults: 18 to 29 years (Prince and Pancho may marry and have children), Adults: 30 years and over

Registration is open until Wednesday, January 5, 2023, 11:59 p.m. and will close thereafter. The election will take place on Sunday, January 7, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m. We call on all parents, coaches, comedians, group leaders to register and to enlarge the selection of the monarchs who will carry the keys of Carnival 70.

Stay tuned in the coming days as more registrations open; Queen’s Election, Tumba Festival, Tumberito Festival, Calypso & Roadmarch Children – Youth Contest and much more.
