Upon the request of the (KPC) Police Corps Curacao, Soldiers from Curaçao rendered assistance during Carnival, to guarantee safety on Curaçao.
The focus of rendering assistance to the Police Force was based on traffic regulations. This joint effort illustrates the reliable and relevant security partnership between
Defense and the Police Corps Curaçao.
During the assistance the KPC took the lead in coordination and management, Defense assisted hereby with 20 Soldiers from Curaçao, on February 4,9,11,12 and 13.
The assistance to local authorities is one of the three mayor tasks of Defense in the Dutch Caribbean Region.
