Tourist falls ill at Tres Trapi and passes away

Turista Se Enferma En Tres Trapi En Aruba Y Fallece

On Tuesday, shortly after 3:00 PM, the police central dispatch was informed by AC that a man had fallen ill in the water at Tres Trapi and was unresponsive.

The central dispatch immediately sent police and an ambulance to the scene.

Upon arrival, officers found several people on the shore trying to resuscitate the individual. The police officers continued the resuscitation efforts until ambulance personnel arrived and took over.

Sadly, despite extensive efforts, nothing could be done to save the 51-year-old American tourist.

A doctor arrived at the scene, along with the Victim Support department (Slachtofferhulp) to provide assistance to the family.

The Aruba Police Force extends its condolences to the family of the deceased.
