Gerlien Croes provides incorrect information once again, according to Red Democratico

Minister Gerlien Croes spoke of having just introduced the first personalized education project in Aruba, which is erroneous information. Former Minister Lampe already launched the National Education Plan 2030 back in 2018, titled “Personalized Education in the Digital Era.” The first personalized education project was already realized in 2020 with the launch of the Aruba Adventist Academy school in San Nicolas, followed by the Educampus project in Playa, and then digital platforms entered EPB and Mon Plaisir basic cycle in 2021. Many student-athletes have already chosen to study at Educampus, as they can continue their training at whatever time they want and can travel abroad for sports at any moment while still following formal lessons via a digital platform. Both Aruba Adventist Academy and Educampus offer a high school diploma. PEN 2030’s plan is that all schools must transition to implementing personalized education ideas, which is why former Minister Lampe introduced the policy of “no staying behind/no grade repetition” (niet blijven zitten), where each student studies according to their own pace, though it met with much resistance. In the past, former Minister Lampe introduced personalized education, and the future is personalized education.
