As part of the Tourism Month activities, Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) successfully hosted its third Tourism Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The event, held from 10 am to noon in the heart of Kralendijk, brought together local children between the ages of 8 and 12 years old for an educational and enjoyable experience centered on Bonaire’s historical landmarks and touristy places downtown.

This year, a total of 11 teams participated, each consisting of 5 children accompanied by an adult. To add creativity to the challenge, each group was assigned a fruit, which they had to incorporate into their costume in some way. The creative costumes showcased the imagination and unique ideas of the teams, adding a lively and colorful character to the Tourism Scavenger Hunt.

Throughout the different site stops and engaging activities around Kralendijk, the participants learned more about the island and its rich history. At the end of the event, all participants were treated to lunch and received a participation gift, courtesy of TCB.

The results of the Tourism Scavenger Hunt are as follows:
Absolute winner first place: Group Bakoba, Leader: Xioella Janga
Second place winner: Group Apel, Leader: Jolinda Craane
Third place winner: Group Druifi, Leader: Samvid Janga

Additional prize: The prize for the most creative costumes went to Group Anasa, Leader Shakeynie Nicasta

The winners of the Tourism Scavenger Hunt will be awarded during the upcoming Taste of Bonaire event on Saturday, September 27, marking the closing of Tourism Month.

A huge thank you goes to all the participating groups that took part in the Tourism Scavenger Hunt.
