On Thursday 25 April, around 12 noon, the central meldkamer received a notification about theft from a shop located on Grandi Street. An employee of the business contacted the police after he suspected that a group of tourists had stolen an expensive leather bag. He immediately sent a patrol to ask for a statement from the man who had been stabbed. Basic Care Police officers immediately began an investigation and with the help of a witness, managed to locate the suspects in the city center. To prove their innocence, the suspects invited the police into their hotel room to prove they hadn’t stolen anything. Once in the hotel room, during the investigation the agents found the stolen bag. A man initially identified as 20-year-old A.Z.J. was arrested in connection with the robbery. The bag was then returned to the business.
