As of 1 May, the chairmanship of the Central Committee of Trade Unions (CCvV) has changed. The CCvV is currently chaired by Mr. Juan Lourens of the STrAF union.
Mr. Lourens has indicated that, as chair, his focus will include increasing public awareness of the CCvV’s work and implementing changes in its operations aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness.
Mr. Wendy Calmes of the ABVO union has been appointed as the new vice chair of the CCvV.
The chairmanship of the CCvV rotates annually among the five unions represented within the committee.
