AHATA Announces Final Selection of “Team Aruba” for Taste of the Caribbean 2025

The Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association (AHATA) is proud to announce the final formation of the Aruba Culinary Team, which will represent Aruba at the prestigious competition “Taste of the Caribbean 2025.”
The event will take place in Barbados, organized by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), from November 16 to 18.

The team consists of the following professionals who will compete in the culinary and mixology categories:
* Senior Chef: Aldwin Donata, Executive Chef at Holiday Inn Resort Aruba
* Pastry Chef: Diego Palacios, Executive Pastry Chef at Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
* Bartender: Nelson Molina from Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba
* Junior Chef: Dylan Cardona, student at Colegio EPI

The Team Aruba delegation is completed by renowned local chef Urvin Croes of Infini Aruba as team mentor, Diantha Boekhouwer of Little Island Media as team manager, and AHATA CEO Tisa LaSorte.

As sponsor, AHATA is proud to support Team Aruba, which will compete against 11 other countries and territories from the Caribbean region: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Bonaire, Curaçao, Grenada, Puerto Rico, Saint Lucia, Turks & Caicos Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Participation showcases Aruba’s high standard of culinary talent, and the team is training intensively to represent Aruba with honor and excellence.
