Congress grants its blessing by acclamation for the new Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 period
the MAN and PIN parties wrote a new page in the political history of Curaçao. After the MAN and PIN parties participated in the 2025 Parliamentary elections with a combined list of members from both parties, a process followed to further strengthen this collaboration.
As part of the aforementioned framework, the party leaderships proposed to the various party organs that the PIN Party integrate into the MAN Party. After the different organs agreed to the proposal, this integration was also approved by the party organ during a Party Congress on May 30, 2026. This means they will participate in the Parliamentary elections in the year 2029 as the MAN Party.
On November 23, 2023, the MAN and PIN parties reached an initial cooperation agreement based on the view that unity brings strength, and the conviction that less fragmentation in the political arena will benefit our community and give more value to the voter’s ballot. Following the collaboration agreement of November 23, 2023, a process ensued to further fortify the partnership, which culminated in the agreement of May 30, 2026, in which the PIN Party integrates into the MAN Party. “The process of giving more substance to this union does not stop here, but will continue according to a vision and action plan,” said the president of the MAN Party, Kenneth Gijsbertha.
“With the Parliamentary elections that took place on March 21, 2025, the people gave their confidence to the MAN-PIN list with two (2) seats in the Parliament of Curaçao.”
“Honoring that trust and fulfilling the responsibility that comes with this task, MAN-PIN worked with a commitment to the people, discipline, and love for our country. The faction has demonstrated that when forces unite based on principles, respect, service to the people, and innovation, extraordinary results can be achieved.”
“We are taking the next innovative step; with great pride, we officially announce the fusion between PIN and MAN. PIN members and leaders are integrating into one (1) party: the MAN Party. We are thus consolidating a single political force with a vision and a commitment to Curaçao.” “Our faction in Parliament will continue as MAN-PIN until the next election.”
This decision is not just a political union. It is a message of maturity, innovation, responsibility, and renewed hope for our people. At a time when many countries face division and polarization, MAN and PIN have chosen unity and innovation. We have chosen to build a future together. We have chosen to place the interest of the entire public, without excluding any group, above personal or partisan interests.

Eliminating political fragmentation does not mean losing identity; it means maturity and a common commitment to strengthen a shared purpose. It means understanding that Curaçao needs strong movements committed to governing with seriousness, stability, and coherence that work to achieve results for the well-being of our community as a whole.”
“To all members of MAN and PIN: this achievement belongs to you too. Thank you for believing in dialogue, with mutual respect, and in the dream of a different and primarily innovative politics. Thank you for walking together with conviction and dignity,” the president concluded by saying.
And to the people of Curaçao: this union is for you. We will continue to work tirelessly for a stronger and more innovative Curaçao, better opportunities for our youth, social justice, solidarity, good governance, and a country where every citizen can be proud of their future.
With our eyes fixed on the future, we continue to move forward united, strong, and prepared to keep serving the people under the name that has marked the political history of our country: MAN.

MAN Party Board of Directors 2026–2028
During the congress, various committees were installed to handle the tasks stipulated in the statutes and internal regulations. At the same time, the board of directors for the 2026–2028 period was chosen by acclamation. The board members are:

Lidushka Cijntje-Carolie – Treasurer
Elected as commissioners (board members-at-large) are: Angel (Jofi) Alvarez, Jourich Christina, Gianna Murray-Anastagasti, Evet Gomez-Wilson, Kenneth Martis, and Vanessa Toré.
