During a workshop by IDEA (Initiative for the Development of Aruban Enterprise)
Entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized businesses recently participated in a free entrepreneurship workshop organized by IDEA (Initiative for the Development of Aruban Enterprise) as part of Phase 2 of its Masterclass Entrepreneurship Program.
The workshop, facilitated by the Department of Economic Affairs (DEACI), offered practical guidance to help participants strengthen and grow their businesses. Representatives from Aruba Bank N.V. presented the process of opening a business bank account, including the requirements and necessary documentation for different business structures, such as NV, VBA, and Eenmanszaak (sole proprietorship).
Participants received guidance on the various steps in the account-opening process, from scheduling an appointment to account activation, and gained information on how to prepare complete applications to avoid delays. The session also highlighted the ease of scheduling an appointment online and the possibility of starting the process digitally for businesses with simpler legal structures.
This workshop is part of IDEA’s ongoing efforts to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources necessary to develop successful businesses. Aruba Bank contributed its expertise to make business banking more accessible to the local business community.
