On Wednesday around 3:00 AM, the police central station was notified that a man was reportedly shot on Mandolinestraat.
The police central station dispatched a police patrol to the scene as well as an ambulance.
Upon police arrival, they indeed found a 20-year-old man who had been shot in front of his home on Mandolinestraat.
His condition appeared critical.
Ambulance personnel arrived shortly after, stabilized the victim, and transported him with maximum urgency to the hospital.
Detectives (Recherche) as well as forensic police were present to conduct their investigation.
The victim support department (Slachtofferhulp) was also present.
The victim’s condition is currently critical but stable.
