The library has received a special children’s book — a book that introduces young readers to important topics such as Aruba’s formation, its flora, fauna, history, people, industry, culture, tourism, and sustainability.
This publication was created by the Aruba Excellence Foundation team, consisting of Giovanni de Windt, Melissa Robert, Susana Romero, and Sharenda Clarinda, with illustrations by Yohandy Larmonie.
A.C.P. for Kids is a beautiful production designed for all children in Aruba.
This week, Giovanni de Windt and Melissa Robert are giving presentations about Aruba’s flora, fauna, and other topics in schools as part of the Festival di Buki pa Mucha 2025.
The goal is to equip children across Aruba with essential knowledge about their island.
The production was made in partnership with the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), the National Archaeological Museum of Aruba (MANA), the Aruba Conservation Foundation (ACF), and the National Archives of Aruba (ANA).
The Aruba Excellence Foundation was established by the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) in 2018, and is responsible for implementing the Aruba Certification Program (A.C.P.) among other initiatives.
The mission and main objective of the Aruba Excellence Foundation are to promote and develop training programs focused on providing accurate and consistent information about Aruba.
