Within the framework of good governance and compliance with all legal requirements as an association in Aruba, the Aruba Olympic Committee (AOC) has formalized the process of renewing the statutes of the association “Aruba Olympic Committee,” as approved by the General Assembly earlier this year. This was achieved after a lengthy process aimed at updating all necessary elements to comply with both local and international requirements.

At the office of Notary Helmeyer, AOC President Wanda Broeksema and Secretary General Nicole Hoevertz signed the notarial deed, resulting in the AOC now having a modern constitution that has already been approved by the International Olympic Committee and that now also complies with the applicable laws and regulations of Aruba.

The AOC thanks everyone who took part in this process, which enables the committee to continue working toward the well-being and development of sports in Aruba.
