The Institute for Healthy and Active Living (IBiSA) has begun preparations for a very special edition of its Aruba Activo activity, which this year marks a historic milestone: 50 years of IDEFRE – IBiSA.
This event will take place on September 27, 2026. From 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM, the Caya Activo activity will take place, and from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, the Aruba Activo 50th Anniversary IDEFRE – IBiSA Edition will be held.
To organize this major event, IBiSA staff recently met to coordinate and plan every aspect of the occasion. These meetings are part of the preparations for a day filled with activities focused on movement, sports, health, and an active lifestyle.
For this special edition of Aruba Activo, IBiSA is preparing a varied program in which people of all ages can participate and enjoy.
Activities will include various sports disciplines, demonstrations, a health and wellness fair, and activities designed to encourage a more active lifestyle.
Another key aspect of the event is the promotion of healthy eating. During Aruba Activo, the public will have the opportunity to learn about and enjoy healthy food and products, which will be available for purchase during the event.
