Last night, a confused man smashed a window of the Parliament Building’s entrance door using a hard object. He then punctured the tires of one or more cars parked nearby.
The police arrived on the scene immediately and arrested the man that same evening. He remains in custody.
The Public Prosecution Service emphasizes that this is an isolated incident and that public order is not at risk. Citizens can trust that the authorities respond swiftly and that security around the Parliament Building is guaranteed.
