Parliament has officially launched the nomination period for the annual “Hala di Choco” award, a distinction dedicated to recognizing and honoring the young talent of our country. This initiative, which has already become an anticipated tradition, has the main goal of structurally giving visibility to the achievements and dedication of our youth.
Any citizen can nominate a candidate. Generally, nominations come from a third party, such as a coach highlighting the skill and dexterity of an athlete, or leaders of organizations like Scouting, among others who work closely with our youth.
Goal of the Award and Presentation Date
The “Hala di Choco” award is presented structurally every year to provide the value and recognition that talented youth deserve. The culmination of this process will take place on September 2nd, coinciding with the official opening date of the Parliamentary Year, at which moment the winner will receive their award.
Requirements and Procedure for Nomination
To ensure an organized process, the following criteria and steps have been established:
Age: The award is exclusively aimed at youth between 15 and 24 years of age.
• Platform: The nomination process is openly accessible via the official Facebook page and on the Parliament website.
• Registration: Interested parties can scan a special QR code that will direct them to a digital form, where they can upload documentation and provide the necessary screening information for the candidate.
Evaluation Process
To guarantee transparency and objectivity, the evaluation is handled by a special commission within Parliament, composed of one representative from each faction. This commission will carefully analyze the profile of each nominee, evaluate the motivations presented, and ultimately select this year’s grand winner.
