In a recent informational meeting, Parliamentarian Edgar Vrolijk emphasized the recurring problem of ATVs and UTVs in Aruba, noting that the lack of communication between the participants is the biggest obstacle to reaching a solution. According to Vrolijk, the current situation clearly demonstrates that the way this matter is being handled is ineffective, and that without an open and sincere dialogue, the problems will continue to persist.
The parliamentarian maintains that the only way to resolve the discrepancies and concerns surrounding the use of these vehicles is through constructive conversations between all parties involved. Vrolijk urges everyone to sit at the table to reach agreements that can guarantee both the safety of the citizens and the protection of our island’s nature, thus preventing the situation from continuing to cause harm to our community.
