The winner of the ‘Bonaire to PSV’ giveaway has been announced. Micheila Trinidad from Bonaire will soon travel to the Netherlands with her daughter, Allisha Trinidad, for a unique experience centered around the PSV soccer club and the city of Eindhoven.
During this all-inclusive trip, Micheila and her daughter will get to know the club, visit the PSV stadium, and experience the atmosphere and culture of Eindhoven and the Brainport region up close. The prize includes, among other things, flight tickets for two people, accommodation, and exclusive PSV activities. The giveaway was organized in collaboration with PSV, the Public Entity Bonaire, and Tourism Corporation Bonaire.

The partnership between Bonaire and PSV was originally launched in 2022 with the aim of strengthening social, sporting, and economic ties between Bonaire and the Brainport Eindhoven region. Since the partnership began, the focus has been on sports development, talent development, knowledge exchange, and economic connections and developments between the two regions. Among other things, PSV organizes Soccer School activities on Bonaire, supports the training of local coaches, and shares knowledge in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship as part of the partnership with Brainport.
Within the partnership, special attention is also paid to the development of women’s soccer on Bonaire. This focuses not only on sporting development but also on empowerment, health, and social participation.

According to Commissioner Timoteo Silberie, the Public Entity Bonaire aims to promote inclusivity so that everyone has equal opportunities in the world of soccer. “This opportunity is not intended just for boys; girls must also be given the chance to develop in the sport. In this case, it happens to involve a winner who is already active in the world of soccer. This experience will give her an extra incentive to continue developing in this area,” said Commissioner Silberie.

Through this giveaway, the partners aim to further engage the residents of Bonaire, especially in the long-standing relationship between Bonaire and PSV. Misheila Trinidad’s trip underscores their shared ambition to further strengthen sports, education, tourism, and cultural connections.

The giveaway was not only organized on Bonaire but was also open to participants from the Netherlands. This not only created local enthusiasm but also generated international attention for Bonaire as an attractive tourist destination. A winner has also been selected from the Netherlands, who will soon travel to Bonaire to experience everything the island has to offer, including its nature, culture, hospitality, and activities. Through initiatives like this, Bonaire aims to continue promoting itself as a unique vacation destination within the Caribbean.

Tourism Corporation Bonaire and Public Entity Bonaire express their gratitude to Corendon for sponsoring the tickets, and they also thank Grand Windsock Bonaire for sponsoring the stay for the winners from the Netherlands.
