On October 31, 2025, the AVP–Futuro Cabinet decided to grant a Ministerial Decree (MB) to the Stichting Maneho di Aruba su Carnaval (SMAC) to oversee the organization of Aruba’s 72nd Carnival.
Prime Minister Mr. Mike Eman, serving as the minister responsible for the Culture portfolio, emphasized the importance of proper organization and highlighted the significance of Aruba’s Carnival — a time when the people of Aruba unite with one purpose and celebrate together in harmony.
Within this context, it was announced that all relevant entities will give their full cooperation to ensure that Carnival 72 becomes a great success despite the short preparation period ahead.
The Department of Culture (DCA) will also provide its contribution and financial support to guarantee that Aruba’s Carnival receives the necessary backing during this stage.
As of today, the public can begin preparations for the first event, which will take place on November 11, 2025, at exactly 11:11:11 a.m.
