Mrs. Richeline C. Joe is presenting her work ‘Kadena di bida’ at the National Library of Aruba on Wednesday, August 26; the presentation begins at 6:30 PM. ‘Kadena di bida’ is a collection of poems and short stories based on real events in daily life.
There are so many things that have happened, are happening, and will still happen in our lives. These numerous events are linked together and form a chain. The chain of our life! Each chain of life is unique. Labor and everything related to it form a real part of our ‘cadena di bida’. We deal with family, friendship, acquaintances, and people who are simply passengers in our lives. Everyone has their significance in our life. Things that happen in the world around us and our encounter with nature are also an indispensable part of our chain of life. The chain of our life continues to shape itself. Every single day we have the opportunity to make our chain of life even more beautiful.
Richeline C. Joe (’57) is a psychologist and also a jurist. She has written various short stories and several poems. In ‘Kadena di Bida’, Mrs. Richeline debuts by offering daily life events that we can all recognize. Mrs. Richeline is from Curaçao and is visiting Aruba for a special presentation at the National Library of Aruba.
