Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) recognized ten visitors as ambassadors of Bonaire during the month of August.
The “Bonaire Ambassador Program,” introduced in 2001, has been very popular among our guests throughout its 25-year history. In the month of August, ten visitors received their recognition as Bonaire ambassadors in the bronze, silver, and gold categories.
In the bronze category, Mr. John Fava from the United States was honored for visiting Bonaire for 10 consecutive years. “Bonaire is an enchanting island, with its diving spots, friendly people, and especially the areas where you can watch a beautiful sunset,” was Mr. Fava’s expression.
In the silver category, recognition was given to Claude Tritz and Michelle Schanck from Luxembourg, who have been visiting Bonaire for 15 years. For this couple, the motto “Once a visitor, always a friend” holds true. They are extremely enchanted with our island, among other reasons, due to the warm welcome they receive each time and the friendliness of Bonaire’s residents.
Enrique Villar, originally from the United States, received recognition for his 16 years of visiting Bonaire. His statement was: “I like everything about Bonaire!” Patricia O’Donnell was also honored for her 17 years of visiting Bonaire.
Richard Blankfein, Lucille Kowisz, Rita Courtney, together with John and Melanie Ferrari from the United States, received their recognition for their 20th, 24th, and 25th years of visiting Bonaire.
