The Aruba Bank Walk & Run 2026 successfully concluded its 20th edition, marking two decades of promoting an active lifestyle and strengthening connections within our community. Under the theme “Evolving Together,” thousands of participants gathered over four consecutive nights to walk, run, and share in an atmosphere filled with energy, motivation, and enthusiasm.
What began in 2005 as a local sporting event has grown over 20 years to become a cherished tradition within our community. This year’s edition brought together participants of all ages and fitness levels, all sharing the same goal: to move, push their limits, and evolve together. A special highlight of this anniversary edition was the introduction of the Corporate Teams category, allowing colleagues to form teams and motivate one another throughout the four days. This initiative perfectly reflected the campaign’s message: that progress and success are best achieved when we do it together. Participants who completed more than 20 kilometers over the four days received the exclusive Finisher’s Coin, a recognition of their perseverance and commitment.
Aruba Bank wishes to express its sincere gratitude to the more than 100 volunteers who contributed to the success of the event. Among them were Aruba Bank employees, representatives from various community organizations, emergency personnel, and other collaborators who worked tirelessly to guarantee a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all participants. A special thank you goes out to our main partners, Subway and IBISA, as well as the Aruba Police Force (Cuerpo Policial Aruba), the Aruba Red Cross (Rode Kruis Aruba), the Volunteer Motor Unit, Patrishi Sports, Excelencia Catering, Elite Entertainment, MC Glennon, DJ 101, DJ Ulrich, 297Sports, Sunny Side Photography, Michael Salazar Photography, Signs 365, the Believe in Yourself Foundation, Smart Systems, Total Services, and all other collaborators who provided their support during the event.
On a competitive level, siblings Christiaan Jansen and Rebecca Jansen dominated the general classification, being named the overall male and female grand winners of the Aruba Bank Walk & Run 2026 after four days of intense competition.
