Movementu Kousa Promé concluded on Monday, November 17th, the educational emancipatory cycle titled “Geopolitics.”
The cycle was organized by the emancipatory education wing of Movementu Kousa Promé, “AKADEMIA POPULAR ERROL SCOOP.”
118 participants followed the course during a period of four months, and 110 received their certificates.
The “Geopolitics” cycle consisted of 12 lessons, each lasting 2.5 hours. There was also a panel discussion on geopolitical topics. Throughout the cycle, various important themes related to today’s geopolitical landscape were discussed.
Some of the topics covered were:
– What is geopolitics?
– The genocide committed by Israel in Gaza
– Global hotspots of conflict and hostility
– The politics of Donald Trump
– Africa as the cradle of humanity
– The new political direction of Ibrahim Traoré in Burkina Faso
– The blockade and hostility against the Nicolás Maduro regime
– The truth about the current situation in Haiti
– China’s global power
– What is BRICS and how is it developing?
– Curaçao has no voice in global geopolitics
This was the 15th cycle of the Akademia Popular Errol Scoop.
During a pleasant evening with a beautiful cultural presentation, the Akademia Popular Errol Scoop concluded the course with great satisfaction.
The “Geopolitics” cycle was an overwhelming success.
In 2026, Kousa Promé will continue organizing activities within the framework of emancipatory education.
Emancipatory education to keep raising awareness among the people and reaching the new child of Curaçao.
