English: Not All Waste Can Be Brought During the “Cuida Aruba” Cleanup Action

Maurits Dijkhoff

The Bureau City Inspector (BCI) will actively support the second edition of “Cuida Aruba.” However, an urgent call is being made to the community to keep in mind the types of waste that ARE allowed to be brought and those that CANNOT be disposed of.

Maurits Dijkhoff, representative of the Bureau City Inspector, indicates that during this cleanup action, there will be strict sorting regarding the types of materials allowed for disposal.

What Waste CANNOT Be Brought?
The categories of waste that do not fall under this cleanup campaign and that the community must keep in mind include:

Household waste: Such as kitchen or bathroom trash.

Chemical materials.

Asbestos.

Dead animals.

Medical materials.

Dijkhoff explains that the Bureau City Inspector, along with volunteers, will be responsible for guiding the process and clearly indicating which waste can be brought out for this cleanup and which is excluded.

The cooperation of the entire community is requested to avoid confusion and ensure clean, responsible waste management during the cleanup weekend.
