Special exhibition will present the 1,165-day journey in the international community
EACH RESIDENT FIRST – On September 6, Bonaire Day, James Finies will officially launch Partido Pueblo Progresivo (PPP), opening a new political chapter based on a clear principle: Each Resident First. PPP is an inclusive political movement, committed to all residents of Bonaire and their rights, without distinction of nationality, origin, or background.
1,165 DAYS IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY – An important part of the evening will be a special exhibition documenting Finies’ 1,165-day journey in the international community. Through photographs, documents, and major achievements, the exhibition will show how Bonaire’s constitutional situation was presented before regional and international forums, including the United Nations. Emphasis will also be placed on the continuous effort to place Bonaire on the United Nations List of Non-Self-Governing Territories.
A NEW POLITICAL CHAPTER – PPP will present its preliminary manifesto, which focuses on the daily challenges facing the people of Bonaire: cost of living, affordable housing and rent, electricity and water expenses, healthcare, education, employment, opportunities for youth, support for the elderly, good governance, and sustainable economic development. For PPP, Each Resident First is not simply a slogan. It is the principle that will guide its action plans, priorities, and decisions.

The entire community of Bonaire is invited to come experience the exhibition and witness the official launch of the PPP.
