Lighting Parade in Aruba with 2 Arrests

On Thursday at 8:01 PM, the police, together with SMAC, started the Lighting Parade in San Nicolas.

The KPA deployed 110 personnel, consisting of uniformed police officers, detectives, ME, Flex Team, Mobile Commando, OCC, K9 Unit, Traffic Unit, Motorized Unit, Planning Unit, administrative staff, and CEA personnel.

At 1:03 AM the head of the parade arrived at Joe Laveist Sportspark, and at 2:29 AM the parade came to an end.

There were 2 arrests, which were for public intoxication and resisting arrest against the police.

In 2025, there were 8 arrests.

The Police Force is satisfied with the behavior of our community.
