The 2026 graduation for the students of Lillyputters Speelschool took place in the ballroom of Doubledown Café. The theme was inspired by crayon colors, and the motto was: “From Lillyputters to Kleuter.” For the 12th consecutive year, the MC was Addonsito Croes.
Songs written by Lilly Arends were performed live by the children and their teachers Nadesca, Suhein, and Lilly. Some of the songs included: Appel cora (Red apple), 7 dia di siman (7 days of the week), Formanan bunita (Beautiful shapes), and Mi por conta (I can count).
Everyone in the room who watched the little ones in their caps and gowns applauded them warmly.
In her message, teacher Lilly thanked each parent and student for the trust placed in Lillyputters Speelschool over the past 2 years. A big thank you also went out to teachers Nadesca and Suhein, as well as Darinka, Darienne, Mila, Kami, Whitney, Gino, Mikey, and the staff and team at Double Down Café. Teacher Lilly Arends has a total of 51 years of experience as an early childhood educator, having founded and run Lillyputters Speelschool for 48 of those years.
