As preparations intensify for the historic 250th Grand Anniversary of Statia Day (First Salute) this coming November 2026, we anticipate an influx of diaspora members, dignitaries, and visitors to our shores. Due to the current scarcity of local accommodation options, the Government of Statia is exploring creative solutions to expand the island’s lodging capacity.
To help alleviate this shortage, we are evaluating the feasibility of deploying a temporary floating hotel. Before proceeding, we want to hear your opinion!
