The Narcotics Unit of the Police Corps conducted an operation on Friday afternoon at Hendrikstraat in Oranjestad, targeting activities related to drug sales. The operation resulted in two arrests and the seizure of various types of drugs.
During the operation, the police detained a local man and a woman with Dominican nationality.
During the search, the police discovered and confiscated a quantity of drugs from the suspects. According to preliminary information, the drugs include cocaine and base. The confiscated drugs will be further analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation.
The police indicated that the investigation is still ongoing and did not rule out the possibility of additional arrests in the coming days.
