Voting advice from movementu 21 (m21) for the dutch parliamentary elections on october 29, 2025: vote volt netherlands

Tweede Kamer

Movementu 21 (M21) calls upon all citizens of the Kingdom of the Netherlands – both in European and Caribbean Netherlands – to actively participate in the Parliamentary Elections on October 29, 2025. For us on Bonaire, these elections represent a historic opportunity to redefine the role of the Caribbean Netherlands within the Kingdom and to work together towards a fairer, more equal, and truly shared future. After a thorough analysis of the party platforms, principles, and positions of the various political parties in this election, M21 RECOMMENDS VOTING FOR VOLT NETHERLANDS. Our decision is based on three fundamental points:

1. A political vision aligned with that of M21: Volt stands for a modern, fair, and forward-looking form of politics — one based on solutions, social justice, sustainability, and transparency. Like M21, Volt believes in participatory democracy, innovation as a driver of progress, and in the duty of politics to serve the people rather than party interests. Volt represents the spirit of renewal that our Kingdom so urgently needs.

2. A genuine commitment to the Caribbean Netherlands: Volt is one of the few political parties that has shown that the Caribbean Netherlands is not a distant appendage, but a living and essential part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Their program acknowledges that Bonaire, Saba, and Sint Eustatius deserve equal opportunities, fair investments, and a treatment that respects our identity, culture, and human potential. For Bonaire, a vote for Volt is a vote for the political dignity of the Caribbean Netherlands — a dignity that has too often been neglected.

3. A different way of doing politics: If we keep doing the same things, we will keep getting the same results. Volt represents a new generation of leaders — ethical, well-prepared, and committed to the common good. In contrast to the consequences of traditional politics, Volt brings a willingness to cooperate, to act with respect, and to deliver real results. This is the kind of politics M21 stands for: politics that unites rather than divides — that builds rather than confronts.

For all these reasons, M21 is convinced that a vote for Volt is a good choice for Bonaire — a choice that can help shape relations within the Kingdom between the Caribbean Netherlands and European Netherlands on the basis of justice, cooperation, and mutual respect.

M21 places its trust in Volt, because Volt places its trust in Bonaire.
