Narcotics Unit Dismantles Marijuana Plantation in Savaneta; Two Men Officially Arrested

The Police Force reaffirms its commitment to island security and calls on the community for cooperation.

Yesterday morning, during a judicial operation, the Narcotics Unit carried out a raid at a house in Savaneta linked to an illegal marijuana plantation. During the operation, a total of 62 marijuana plants were seized.

Two men were officially arrested: L.R.J.V.D.N., 25 years old, born in Aruba, and G.C.R., 55 years old, also born in Aruba. During the raid, the Narcotics Unit deployed its K-9 Unit, Flex Team, and RRT to secure the area and facilitate the investigation.

The Police Force reiterates its commitment to maintaining safety on the island and reminds the community that every citizen’s cooperation is essential.
