On Sunday, November 16, 2025, Sinterklaas and his Piets will arrive in Aruba by boat at the Aruba Ports Authority (A.P.A.) terminal.
The Government of Aruba and the Commission for the Celebration of National Days of Aruba (C.C.D.N.) invite all adults and children to come and welcome Sinterklaas once again to Aruba. The gates of the A.P.A. Cruise Terminal (Gate 5), next to Welcome Plaza, will open at 2:00 PM so the public can greet Sinterklaas, who will be accompanied by more than 100 Piets.
The boat is scheduled to arrive at our dock at 3:00 PM. Sinterklaas and his Piets will disembark and then board the Tram, which will depart with music and Piet performances towards Plaza La Linda in our Caya Grandi. The route will go from Welcome Plaza along the tram tracks behind Arubus Weststraat, through Havenstraat, Plaza Daniel Leo, and into Caya Grandi.
The Sinterklaas caravan will arrive at Plaza La Linda around 4:00 PM, where there will be activities for all children, including dance and shows, photo opportunities with Sinterklaas, popular children’s games, and various tents selling food and drinks. The program at Plaza La Linda will end at 6:00 PM. All adults are asked to watch over the children, including protecting them from the sun, keeping them refreshed, protecting their ears, and being cautious with traffic and the crowds. Sunday is family day—come with the children to enjoy the arrival of Sinterklaas.
