Last week, at the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) office, the Aruban Olympic Committee (COA) met with Tita Iglesias, who until last week was in charge of the Events and Sponsorships Specialists Department at ATA. Now, after 41 years in the tourism sector and 9 years with ATA, Tita is closing her professional chapter and welcoming a new stage in her life.
Tita is undoubtedly a prominent figure in Aruba’s community, not only in the tourism industry, but also in the cultural sphere, such as Carnival, and in the world of sports. Well known for her contributions to various sports and international sporting events held in Aruba, Tita’s role in the collaboration between ATA and COA was instrumental in creating a strong and valuable partnership.
The COA expresses its sincere gratitude for Tita’s support, passion, and dedication to sports. As stated during the meeting, although Tita is moving on to the next phase of her life, she will always remain an important part of our sporting community.
Thank you, Tita.
