Member of Parliament Dangui Oduber reaffirmed his strong opposition to the legislative procedures that threaten the autonomy of Aruba. In his statement, he emphasized the importance of a unified approach to protect the country’s interests, despite political differences.
Defending our rights and freedom Oduber expressed his total disagreement with the current management and underlined that it is the duty of Parliament to act responsibly. The MP stated:
• A firm stance: He said he does not agree with laws that weaken Aruba and that they will continue to fight for the well-being of the citizens.
• Protection of freedom: Oduber remarked that the main goal is to defend and preserve the freedom and rights of all citizens.
• Unity for Aruba: He called for unification among parliamentarians, despite fundamental differences of opinion, to prevent the approval of laws that harm Aruba.
A legacy for the future The parliamentarian emphasized that they cannot leave a negative legacy that would hinder the progress of future generations. According to Oduber, they have the responsibility to ensure a better future and not allow current decisions to cause lasting damage to the country.
“We are committed to not leaving a legacy that sets our country back,” concluded Oduber, reiterating that his actions will always be oriented toward the well-being and defense of Aruba’s autonomy.
