In the center of Playa Pabao neighborhood in Aruba where the vote for Venezuela took place, Yenny Castro, coordinator of the “Movement for Venezuela in Aruba”, is supporting the representatives of the Movement for Venezuela and the local committee in Aruba.
An electoral process is being organized called the primaries to choose the candidate of the unity that will be represented as a candidate in the opposition in the presidential elections 2024 in Venezuela. In total there were 13 candidates, but 3 were eliminated leaving 10 candidates to go to the presidential election in Venezuela. In Aruba the Venezuelan community had the opportunity to vote.
There were 1500 registered Venezuelans who wanted to come and vote, but at the same time the organizers are aware that the promotion did not work and that there was some confusion about who could vote and who could not. But at the same time it is believed that for the presidential election the figure will rise where more citizens will come to vote.
This vote demonstrates that Venezuelans want a change and leave behind the amount of more than 24 years under a regime, control that Venezuelans have lived under for many years. Now they truly want freedom and firmly believe that this is the step or the beginning of a happy ending.
It is hoped that 2024 will be a prosperous and positive year for Venezuela where the country can get back on its feet.
After a long day in the afternoon, the ballot boxes were closed and the counting began and the result of this is Total of votes 597 votes MC 584, Delsa S. 3 votes, Andres Caleca 1 vote, Andres Velasquez 1 vote, Carlos Prosperi 3 votes, Cesar Perez 4 votes, Capriles 1 vote.
