Aruba and Panama Promote Cultural Exchange and International Cooperation

Guizza Maria Steenvoorde

The reigning Teen Universe International 2025, Guizza Maria Steenvoorde, will represent Aruba and the Teen Universe International Organization during her official visit to Panama, where she will participate in the Teen Universe International Panama pageant.

This visit comes following a special invitation from Andres Atencio, CEO of Teen Universe Panama Franchise, and Maik Lumbi, who invited the Aruban delegation to explore future collaboration between the two nations.

The purpose of the visit is to promote cultural exchange, youth empowerment, and international cooperation, while strengthening the friendship between Aruba and Panama in a spirit of diversity and excellence.

Guizza Maria’s presence in Panama represents not only her title as Teen Universe International 2025, but also her growth as a global youth ambassador. She continues to inspire young people through her message of education, inclusion, and cultural awareness.

Throughout the past year, Guizza Maria has participated in international fashion runways, including Doral Fashion Week in Miami, New York Fashion Week, and Milan Fashion Week, proudly representing the elegance and talent of Aruban youth on some of the world’s most prestigious stages.

During her stay in the Netherlands, she visited several schools and spoke with international students about inclusion, European international law, and UNICEF’s global efforts to protect and empower children worldwide.

Regarding her visit to Panama, it is worth highlighting that, just like Aruba, Teen Universe Panama International is only one year old but has already achieved a strong presence on the international stage, showcasing the high level of preparation and talent of its participants.
In Punta Cana, Alexandra Guzman won the Teen Universe International Petite title with her stunning national costume, “El Despertar de la Niña, La Pinta y Santa María.”

Guizza Maria expressed her excitement:

“It is a great honor to represent Teen Universe International in Panama and to be part of a celebration of youth, culture, and empowerment. I am inspired to see how such events unite nations and give young people a platform to make a difference.”
“Teen Universe International has opened many doors for me. My work with UNICEF will be my primary mission after my reign — and most importantly, my message to youth is that our voices matter.”

After her visit to Panama, Aruba’s young ambassador will travel to Miami to join the Miss Teen Universe International Cuba event.

The Teen Universe International Organization continues its mission to empower young women around the world, promoting leadership, confidence, and cultural understanding through art, education, and community service.

Guizza Maria is also preparing for her final gala in Aruba, where she will present her fashion collection, designed by both local and international designers.
The collection, created with care, incorporates themes such as autism, Aruba, and culture, reflected in both its colors and designs. It will also be featured during her appearances in Nicaragua in February 2026.
The gala night will take place in January 2026.

With this event, Guizza Maria will conclude her reign with a heartfelt message to the world:
“Though Aruba is small, it is great in unity and beauty — Bo no ta bo so! (You are never alone).”
