the Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach held its Annual General Meeting at the La Cabana Beach Resort and Casino. The event served as a testament to the strong bond of brotherhood that continues to define the club.
In accordance with the bylaws of both Kiwanis International and the local chapter, the agenda focused on two primary objectives. First, Immediate Past President (IPP) Ross Brezovar delivered a presentation on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can assist in daily professional tasks, followed by Lieutenant Governor (LG) Rothmar Coenraad, who shared key takeaways from the recent District Convention held in Toronto, Canada.
The second order of business was the formal approval of the nominees for the 2026–2027 Board of Directors, scheduled for installation this coming October. Patrick Melchiors, chair of the elections committee, outlined the rigorous process involved in selecting the nominees and underscored the importance of a transparent election. The new board was subsequently approved by acclamation, receiving unanimous support from all members in attendance.
The Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 Kiwanis year will consist of: Christopher Robles (President), Michel Frank (Immediate Past President), Roël Gomez (Incoming President), Glennrick Ridderstap (Vice President), Joshua Arrindell (Treasurer), and Rodney Kock (Secretary). Serving as Directors are Rothmar Coenraad, Jomar Benschop, Navin Gangaram Panday, Giandric Tromp, Randolph Ruiz, Dennis Evers, and Paul Seute.
