During a recent presentation before the PPA faction, Mrs. Suzette Dumfries — an economist, nation builder, change agent, philanthropist, and founder of a global consulting firm dedicated to the architecture of modern national identity and the development of resilient nations — shared an in-depth and visionary analysis focused on the future of San Nicolas and the overall development of the country of Aruba. The presentation brought forward the conclusions of an extensive research project known as the “Dumfries Plan 2030”.
The event was described as highly positive, with the audience present being extremely satisfied with the structured presentation, the research results, and the projected goals for the future.
National Research and Planning
The core of the presentation was the analysis of “Shaping the Future of San Nicolas”, which demonstrated the need to bring together all necessary entities to achieve real progress. According to Mrs. Dumfries, whose philosophy is based on the principle that growth means nothing if it leaves people behind (inclusive outcomes), the research was commissioned to work across six separate sections, resulting in a plan that encompasses not just one area, but promises to be embraced as a national plan.
The main goal is for this project to begin gaining support from various institutions, the government, and political factions in the country, transforming it into an inclusive initiative for the entire community.
