Registration for the Naturalization Test

The Examinations and Testing Section of the Department of Education Aruba (DEA) informs the public that registration for the Naturalization Test will open on July 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

This time, registration is open only for the 4 Dutch level A2 tests, which are: Reading (Lezen), Listening (Luisteren), Writing (Schrijven), and Speaking (Spreken). Please note: Registration will not open this year for the OC & OE tests (Community Orientation and State Orientation), nor for the Papiamento level A2 test.

To register for the 2026 Naturalization Test, you must fill out a digital registration form which can be found on our website www.ea.aw starting July 1, 2026. On the website, you can search for “Naturalisatietoets” under the letter (N), “Prueba di Naturalisacion” under the letter (P), or click directly on this link: https://www.ea.aw/pages/naturalisatietoets.

In order to register, you must have a Gmail address. No other email addresses can be used to register. We do not accept registrations at the front desk (balie) nor via the email addresses naturalisatietoets.aw@gmail.com or naturalisatietoets@ea.aw.

Registration opens on July 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM. As soon as the slots are filled, the registration will close.

Please keep in mind that at the time of registration, you must upload the following documents in PDF format:

A scan (PDF) of a valid passport;

A scan (PDF) of an extract from the civil registry of Aruba (the 5-florin Censo paper, not older than 6 months);

A scan (PDF) of any granted exemptions/declarations (verklaring), if applicable to you;

A scan (PDF) of your Papiamento/Dutch Naturalization Test Certificate issued up until 2010, if applicable to you;

A scan (PDF) of your EPB-arbeidsmarkt or SPO diploma along with your final grade transcript, if applicable to you.

Of the registrations received, we will only accept and process registrations that are completely filled out and complete. Please take this into careful account. Candidates will receive an email confirming that their registration has been received. The first round of testing will take place in the month of September 2026, and the second round will take place in the month of October 2026. The exact dates on which the tests will take place will be announced later.
