Radiate. Rise. Renew.

Biblioteca Nacional De Aruba

Traces the journey of transformational abstract artist Sharina Gumbs, bringing together early experiments, darker reflections, and new works of closure and tribute. From her first steps into abstraction in 2008 to recent explorations of healing, her art has grown in depth, color, movement, and linework — a reflection of life’s transformations.

At the heart of the exhibition is a tribute to her mother, her greatest influence and source of love. Since her recent passing, Sharina honors her mother’s spiritual presence through art — presenting a portrait of her parents and three of her mother’s own sculptures — celebrating a legacy of love that continues to guide.
