Commemoration of deceased colleagues in active duty

Every year in Curacao, on the last Thursday in May, we remember colleagues who have died in active duty. In the Caribbean area we do this out of solidarity together with the Caribbean Coast Guard. This is what we do through a 2 minute silence and a commemoration ceremony.

In this way we want to show respect and appreciation to deceased colleagues and offer comfort to the bereaved.
