A Highly Productive Weekend for the COA Athletes’ Commission

President of the Aruba Athletes’ Commission and Carlos Santiago share insights from the Athletes’ Forum

This past weekend, the Aruba Athletes’ Commission (AAC) experienced a busy and productive series of activities, centered around Saturday’s Athletes’ Forum. Surrounding this historic event, additional meetings and key workshops were held. In addition to Saturday’s main activity, a special workshop was organized for sports federations and coaches, along with meetings with the Aruban Olympic Committee (COA) team.

Furthermore, the Commission held a meeting with the Minister of Sports, Ms. Gerlien Croes, to share perspectives and exchange ideas on the development of sports and athletes on the island.

In this interview, AAC President Monica Pimentel OLY provides more details about these fruitful days, while Carlos Santiago elaborates on his visit to Aruba and his impressions of the local sports community.
