On the occasion of King’s Day, the AVP-Futuro Cabinet including Prime Minister Mike Eman, Vice Premier Gerlien Croes, Minister Rene Herdé, Minister Wendrick Cicilia, Minister Geoffrey Wever, Minister Arthur Dowers, and President of Parliament Marlon Sneek congratulates all citizens of Aruba who have been honoured with a Royal Decoration in 2026.
This morning, the official list of honourees was published in a special edition of the Staatscourant. The granting of these decorations is part of the annual tradition related to the birthday of His Majesty King Willem-Alexander, as Grand Master of the orders.
This year, a total of 19 individuals from Aruba received the honour for their exceptional contributions to society. This recognition is given to persons who, through their dedication and commitment, have contributed significantly to the wellbeing, development, and strengthening of the community.
The following individuals will be decorated as ‘Lid in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau’ (Member of the Order of Orange-Nassau):
