Juliendra Janga and Raiza Wilsoe are the winners of the ‘Festival Kanta bo Boneiru’ 2026. The festival took place on Saturday, August 15th at the Corallium Hotel. The Public Entity Bonaire (EPB), through the SKAL department (Section for Culture, Art, and Literature), organized the festival.

Juliendra Janga won the Youth category with her song ‘E mensahe pa un mihó Boneiru’ (The message for a better Bonaire). Raiza Wilsoe won the Adult category with her song ‘Nos historia no ta pèrdí’ (Our history is not lost).

During the festival, the public enjoyed songs from the various participants. A professional jury judged the different performances. This year, there were six participants in the Youth category and eight in the Adult category.

The ‘Festival Kanta bo Boneiru’ is organized annually. During the festival, a song is selected that connects with the celebration of ‘Bonaire Day’. Interest in the festival was high this year.

EPB congratulates Juliendra Janga and Raiza Wilsoe on their victory. EPB also thanks all participants, the professional jury, collaborators, and the public for their contribution to the ‘Festival Kanta bo Boneiru’ 2026.
