Knoefy workshops concluded successfully

Knoefy Workshop

Quality Artistic Education (EKADK) organized a two-day workshop about Knoefy, the storyteller. During the two days, teachers and other interested parties became acquainted with the program.

Knoefy was developed to help children better understand, recognize, and express their emotions. The concept combines storytelling, music, theater, and puppetry in a safe and easy-to-understand manner. Lessons are given using traditional puppetry, where the teacher, together with Knoefy, guides the children.

The creator of Knoefy, Archell Thompson, gave an extensive explanation during the workshops about the structure of the program and how teachers can use it in the classroom. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and contribute their own ideas on how to apply Knoefy at their schools.

The goal is for Knoefy to become part of the curriculum of participating schools starting in the new school year. In this way, children will receive additional support for their social and emotional development in an age-appropriate manner.

In addition to the workshops, Knoefy also visited an after-school care center.

EKADK looks back on the workshops with satisfaction and thanks all participating schools for their commitment and contribution.
