The Minister of Finance, in the presence of heads and team leaders, welcomed 19 new officials in Ontvanger.
These are 8 staff for the special collections departments, 4 staff for the bailiff service and 7 staff for the billing team. A part of these employees had previously worked for Ontvanger as temporary workers and had now entered permanent service. The other employees come from other government services and/or the private sector.
With the expansion of the onttvanger team, the minister wants to avoid delays in collection which may cause unnecessary increases in the collection system. The team must make sure that Ontvanger works as much as possible today. This makes the seizure and composition of the system more manageable and also makes the seizure more predictable. International research and publications have shown that working today constitutes a good basis for the lien and effectiveness of tax collection and increased compliance.
Regarding the collection of tax services, important steps have been taken in the meantime to eliminate delays and start working today, although there are still some challenges.
