The Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry, through its Initiative for Aruban Enterprise Development unit (IDEA), is organizing a workshop series on: ‘Young Entrepreneurship’.
These workshops are part of the policy of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs, and Primary Sector to stimulate entrepreneurship.
The workshop series is highly interactive and designed for youth between 18 and 35 years old, including students, working individuals, those currently developing a business, or those exploring an entrepreneurial path.
These workshops provide young people with practical knowledge, personal development, and business skills that can support them in their education, career, business, or journey as an entrepreneur.
The topics to be presented during the three workshop days are as follows:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Your Business: Participants will gain a basic, practical understanding of how they can use AI tools responsibly in their business.
- Creating Business Connections: This interactive workshop spans two days and will cover:
- How to build authentic relationships to achieve personal and professional growth;
- Participants will practice communication skills and create a personal plan to help them build sustainable and long-lasting relationships.
This workshop focuses entirely on personal development, authentic relationships, and networking within the business world.
These workshops are completely FREE and will take place on September 30, October 28, and November 4, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry, located in Cas Veneranda on Wilhelminastraat #7, on the second floor.
