Gustave Noul is in Aruba once again. This time as a special guest of A.T.A to update his painting of all the CEO’s of ATA. Also to promote and prepare an international tour in 2024, with the book maternity, in 4 languages.
Nouel presented the book, (which was supported by several dynamic local artists), to the current director of A.T.A., Mrs. Ronella Croes, to help promote the international maternity tour. After the start in Aruba, with exhibitions and workshops by the authors, Zuleika Coffie and GN, this model project started in Aruba will be offered in all parts of the Kingdom.
In addition to A.T.A’s support to try to start in Aruba in May 2024, the project can also count on the support of the National Library of Aruba, the Department of Culture and more important actors, such as the University of Aruba and UNESCO and of course with the support of our Aruban curator Renwick Heronimo.
Bonaire and Sint Maarten have already shown concrete interest in continuing the maternity project, after Aruba. When Art Fair Aruba heard from A.T.A that GN will be in Aruba this season, they immediately asked GN to bring a card to participate in Aruba Art Fair.
A week before the Aruba Art Fair invited Nouel, she completed a ‘quasi abstract’ painting, inspired by a Cosmic Phenomenon, titled: “WOWO OF GOD”. An abstract painting, which achieves perfect harmony in its chaos, in the eyes of G.N.
GN is also preparing an art project in Rancho, the most historic part of Oranjestad, together with Zuleika Coffie and Mo Mohammed, related to Oranjestad’s 200th anniversary celebration in 2024…
The celebration of Oranjestad’s 200th anniversary is also a good opportunity to try to realize the dream of creating an Aruban museum. A cultural dream in Aruba, more than 30 years ago! There are already potential buildings. And now also with the Amphitheatre and the Arts Circle to support all artistic disciplines in Aruba.
