Art is Fun Studio Aruba is pleased to announce its highly anticipated 2024-2025 Annual Exhibition, a vibrant celebration of young talent inspired by Pop Art icons Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Romero Britto. The event will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Astor I Ballroom of the prestigious The St. Regis Aruba Resort.
The exhibition will showcase the work of the academy’s talented students, mostly children and young adults ages 3 to 16, who during this academic year explored and reinterpreted the distinctive techniques and styles of Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Britto. From Warhol’s colorful silkscreens and Pop iconography, to Lichtenstein’s dots and comic-book narrative, to Britto’s explosion of colors and optimistic patterns, each piece reflects the creativity and unique perspective of these young artists. Also on display will be the work of young artist Mia Bella Dragonetti Meza, who designed costumes inspired by the masters of Pop Art and under the mentorship of Diego Giraldo, who has been her guide and trainer. She will present a fashion-filled runway show. We will have the honor of having Yahaira N. Maduro-Albus as guest artists and with the participation of rhythmic gymnast Ariana Croes.
