The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) has issued an orange alert for early tomorrow, the second-highest level of warning in the Netherlands. The warning is due to expected snowfall and the risk of slippery roads.
The orange alert will take effect from 6:00 AM and applies to the entire country, with the exception of the Wadden area and Limburg, where a yellow alert remains in effect. The alert is valid until 4:00 PM.
According to the forecast, the first snowfall is expected in the east late at night. By early morning, snow will spread across the entire country. The weather model indicates that 3 to 7 centimeters of snow may accumulate.
KNMI recommends that everyone traveling on the roads exercise caution, follow regulations, and prepare for possible delays.
